Kiyo Beauty is located in the United Kingdom and all orders are shipped from our warehouse in London, UK. 
As of 1 July 2021, all goods imported into the EU will be subject to VAT. Depending on your country the rate will vary between 17-28%  of the total cost of goods. Customs duties will also apply on most shipments valued over €150. This is separate to VAT and is determined by the type of goods being imported.

This means that you are no longer hit with a nasty surprise or any hidden charges when receiving your goods.

We’ve put together some important questions that you may have below. We hope that the answers will provide you with a better understanding of what the changes are so you’ll know what to expect for future international shipments from us. 

Will I be charged customs Duty/VAT fees upon delivery?  And are there any other additional charges I need to know about?

No. The total amount you pay now includes shipping & handling and all applicable customs duties & taxes. We guarantee no additional charges on delivery.

The shipping cost calculation comprises of transport costs (weight and location based) and a flat rate handling fee of £13.50. Handling fees are set by the courier to clear customs and we have no control over this additional fee. 

Are there any restrictions in my country?

• Please contact your local customs office to get all current and relevant information regarding importing goods (including maximum number of cosmetics allowable, business or personal use licences where applicable) before placing your order. 

• As far as we know, the following EU countries have special restrictions on cosmetics arriving into the destination country:
• Spain (no items allowed for private individuals),
• Germany (Paused until further notice)
• Italy (maximum of 4 items and no more than 2 of each item),
• Portugal (private use only)
• Greece (max 3 items)  

• You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.

• Failure on your part to understand the restrictions in your country will result in your parcels being returned back to us. In case of a return in such cases, we will refund the costs of products only (shipping charges will not be refunded) and you may be liable for return shipping fees.
