Type 4 Kinky Hair  (4b,4c)

Kinky hair is often used as a broader term to describe hair textures within the Type 4 range, particularly Type 4b and 4c hair. 

Type 4b hair features tightly coiled or zig-zag curls that may not have a defined curl pattern. The curls are densely packed and may appear more wiry or fluffy compared to Type 4a curls. Type 4c hair consists of densely packed coils that are tightly kinked or tightly coiled. This hair type often lacks a distinct curl pattern and may shrink significantly when dry.
