How to apply

1. Braid your natural hair into flat cornrows. A beehive pattern is recommended for maximum volume.
2. Slide the crochet needle (latch open) horizontally under one of your cornrows.
3. Take a strand of the Cherish Junior Butterfly Locs 8" hair—do not unravel the curl yet—and place the middle of the strand onto the hook. Close the latch.
4. Gently pull the needle back under the braid until you have a small loop of extension hair on one side and the loose ends on the other.
5. Push your thumb and index finger through the loop, grab the loose ends of the hair, and pull them through. To prevent the synthetic hair from slipping, loop it through a second time before tugging it tight against the braid.
6. Space the strands about a finger-width apart. Once finished, you can gently separate the curls to add volume and trim any stray hairs to shape the look.
