Choosing Your Shade

• Select a shade no more than two levels lighter or darker than your current natural colour.
• The first shade number indicates its depth: lower numbers are darker, while higher numbers are lighter.
• Additional numbers indicate whether the shade has natural, cool or warm reflects.
• If choosing between two shades, Garnier recommends selecting the lighter option.
• Permanent colour generally lightens natural hair by only one or two levels. Greater lightening may require a separate bleaching product.
• Long or thick hair may require two boxes for complete coverage.

How to Use

1. Complete an allergy alert test 48 hours before every application.
2. Cover your clothing with an old towel and put on the supplied gloves.
3. Squeeze the entire colour cream into the developer bottle.
4. Close the bottle and shake thoroughly until completely blended.
5. Apply immediately in sections, beginning at the roots and working through the lengths and ends.
6. Leave the colour to develop for 25–35 minutes, following the timing stated for your selected shade.
7. Add a small amount of water and massage gently before rinsing thoroughly until the water runs clear.
8. Apply the restoring conditioner, distribute through the hair and rinse as directed on the pack.
