How to Use

1. For the best results, ensure the hair measures approximately 2–5mm.
2. Make sure the skin is clean, completely dry and free from creams, oils and inflammation.
3. Insert the Italwax Solo wax cartridge fully into the Solo heater.
4. Connect the supplied cable and plug the heater into a suitable socket. The red indicator light will show that the heater is operating.
5. Allow the wax to heat for approximately 20 minutes.
6. Test the roller on a waxing strip. The wax is ready when the roller moves easily and deposits a thin, even layer.
7. If the wax does not roll smoothly, heat it for another five minutes.
8. Test the wax temperature on a small area before applying it more widely.
9. Roll the wax onto the skin in the direction of hair growth.
10. Immediately press a non-woven strip over the wax, leaving at least 1cm free from wax to use as a grip.
11. Smooth the strip firmly several times in the direction of hair growth.
12. Hold the skin taut and remove the strip quickly against the direction of hair growth, keeping it close and parallel to the skin.
13. Remove any remaining wax with one of the included finishing wipes. Wax residue cannot be removed with water.
14. Unplug the heater after use and allow the cartridge to cool before removing it.

Cleaning and Storage

If necessary, clean the cartridge roller using the unused side of a waxing strip. Do not use water, finishing wipes, oils or other liquids to clean the roller, as this may affect the wax’s adhesion.

Replace the heater cover and store the appliance upright in a clean, dry place. Do not wrap the electrical cable around the heater.

Safety Information

Complete a patch test on a small section of the intended treatment area and wait 24 hours before proceeding. Test the wax temperature and your skin’s reaction before every use.

Do not apply wax to areas affected by varicose veins, acne, stitches, moles, inflammation, irritation or a previous allergic reaction. Do not use on the face, underarms, bikini area or delicate chest skin. Do not apply more than twice to the same area during one treatment.

Consult a medical professional before waxing if you have a dermatological condition or use medication that may affect the skin. Waxing is not recommended for people taking retinoids or for those with diabetes without medical advice.

Wait 24 hours after waxing before using deodorant, perfume or self-tanning products, swimming or exposing the treated skin to direct sunlight.

Use the electrical heater only in a dry area and keep it away from baths, showers, sinks and other sources of water. Never handle the appliance with wet hands or leave it unattended while plugged in. Use only the supplied cable and compatible Italwax Solo cartridges. Do not use adapters, extension leads or the appliance if it or its cable is damaged.
