The Hair Makeup is a curl styling gel and a temporary colour all in one. It’s like makeup for hair – it won’t dye it but just coat it with a vibrant pop of colour. Curlsmith Hair Makeup is packed with a blend of sustainable, ethical, high-pigment pearls that deposit an intense layer of colour even on dark hair. Because it's not a dye, you don't need gloves to apply it, it won't stain light hair colours (or your bathroom furniture) and it will wash off effortlessly with just one shampoo. Once fully dry, the gel will keep your curls defined and make the colour transfer resistant. All the fun, none of the damage!

WHO IS IT FOR?

All curl types, and surprisingly even straight hair! Works on any hair colour, from the lightest blonde to the sarkest black. Suitable for any hair thickness or porosity.

Directions

Step 1

Protect clothes with a towel during application. Section your hair and apply to damp, detangled curls (no need for gloves).

Step 2

Smooth over each section, then rake to ensure it coats every strand. For more even coverage, finger coil each curl with more colour.

Step 3

Flip your head and scrunch the hair to encourage curl formation, then dry with a diffuser to allow the colour to set.

Step 4

After hair is fully dry, scrunch again to break the hard cast. Be gentle to avoid colour fallout. Enjoy your new look!

During busy periods (such as Black Friday, launches, and Christmas), dispatch may take up to 5 working days.
UK standard delivery usually arrives within 2–5 working days after dispatch.
International delivery times vary depending on destination and customs processing.
Free UK shipping is available on orders over £40.

Returns

You can return your order within 14 days of receiving it.

We use a dedicated portal to manage and track returns. Please contact our customer service team to request a returns authorisation number (RAN). Contact us

Please do not send your packages without authorisation as these will be refused.

If you are returning items not due to defect, discrepancy or misdescription, you will be responsible for return postage costs. This will usually be deducted from your purchase refund.

Items can only be returned for a refund if they are unopened, unused and in a re-saleable condition with all tamper-resistant seals, packaging and any cellophane intact and within 14 days of your receiving your order.

We do not offer exchanges. You will need to place a new order and return your original for a refund.
